      The systematic and understandable explanation is vital for the international community to clearly understanding the concept of China's ecological civilization, as well as for promoting the ecological civilization construction under the global vision. Ecological civilization is being raised from a traditional philosophy to a national development strategy, and becoming a concrete, intelligible and operable concept and terminology for national governance. Main points for understanding ecological civilization including:of ecological civilizationconstruction is the core element of China's national overall development strategy, the transformation of China's national governance concept and strategy, and the overall strategy of the country's environment and development transition. The path of ecological civilization calls for its integration into all aspects of economic, political, cultural, and social progress. The key approach is to substantially increase the green extent of the economy, and the main front and fundamental measure is environmental protection.
