      The annual report 2021 adopts the methods of on-the-spot investigation and policy analysis to carry out a systematic assessment of China's environmental and economic policy practice in 2021. It is generally concluded that the establishment of environmental and economic policy system in 2021 is constantly improving, and important progress has been made in the reform and innovation of environmental and economic policies, and it has played an unprecedented and important role in fighting the tough battle against pollution, continuously improving the quality of the ecological environment, and supporting and serving the transformation of comprehensive green and low-carbon development, and becomes an important driving mechanism for the construction of ecological civilization and beautiful China. In novel coronavirus pneumonia and the rapid change of the macroeconomic situation, the reform and innovation of environmental economic policy need to further coordinate the new development of domestic and international development and play a more important role in promoting the development of high quality and protecting the ecological environment in a high level.
